Validate NSPredicate format

In my app user can create NSPredicates by using NSPredicateEditor. I want to validate that user entered correct RegEx in NSPredicateEditorRow by testing NSPredicate.

@IBAction func predicateChanged(_ sender: NSPredicateEditor) {
//I want to test sender.predicate

Is that possible?
