FIrebase Phone Authentication supported countries?

Question

Does anyone know if Firebase Phone Authentication works for India phone numbers?

I successfully implemented and to work for US numbers (+1xxxxxxxxxx), but the text not received when I tried with an India phone number. Wasn't sure if it didn't work or I was missing something. I send as +91xxxxxxxxxx.

Digits previous blog discussed US vs India analytic enhancements for adoption, so I assume India is supported.

Firebase Authentication supports phone number verification across the the world, but not all networks reliably deliver our verification messages. The following countries have good rates of delivery, and should be expected to work well for phone number sign in.

Yes. India should be supported. But keep in mind the note about not all networks reliably deliver" the Firebase verification messages.

Firebase Authentication supports phone number verification across the the world... But If one wanted to test for other countries, a one you reside. one can add test mobile number and test opt for the same. By this your project will save daily’s sms quota, It is called "Test with fictional phone numbers".
