DirectX VSIX Installer Installation Failed

Question

I am just beginning DirectX programming on Visual Studio Express 2013. I searched online how to begin with it. I found a resource here

I downloaded the zip and when I ran the VSIX file I got the following error:

This extension is not installable on any currently installed products.

I also refered to the this thread

and followed the instruction provided in each and every answer. Still I am getting the same error.

Please tell me what else I need to do to fix this. I am totally new to DirectX.

Fixed it.

Downloaded Visual Studio Community 2013 with Update 4. And it worked fine.
