Android airplane mode change

Question

I have a rooting phone(5.0.1)
I want to switch on & off airplane mode every 40 seconds

not working

Settings.System.putInt(getContentResolver(),Settings.System.AIRPLANE_MODE_ON, 1);

then I tried:
