After changing the password on an email account useing RoundCube cannot get emails to be received or sent

Two days ago I change the password on an email account, today when I went to check emails I noticed that for two days I have not received any emails which I think was very strange which is also when I changed the password. I created a new email account sent myself a few test emails and I successfully received them. I also sent test emails to send to another email account and I also successfully received them however, soon as I change the password that is when I can no longer send or receive any emails but when I do a restore, then any of the emails that are I guess waiting in the queue all come in.

I am using

  • Ubuntu 18.04 (X86_64)
  • vestacp v0.9.8-26 (I am assuming I am using the latest version since I recently did a clean installation.)
  • Roundcube Webmail 1.3.6
  • filesystem_attachments 1.0 GPLv3+
  • jqueryui 1.12.0 GPLv3+
  • password 4.2 GPLv3+
