Unable to start activity ComponentInfo java.lang.NullPointerException File Browser

Question

I have copied a class, which opens a dialog in order to pick a file, from a tutorial and I don't know why it throws me this exception, can anybody help me?

This is the class :

Any suggestion is welcomed

EDIT: The NullPointerException is in the line 130: for(String file : fileList1) in the loadFileList() method.

i think in public Dialog createFileDialog() you are missing a create()

dialog = builder.show();

Should be

dialog = builder.create().show();
