Is it possible to assign a logon script to a user in a windows machine which is not a part of domain?

I have gone through the following link : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc758918(v=ws.10).aspx.

It mentions that the script should be saved in directory that corresponds to the domain controller's Netlogon shared folder.

So is it not possible assign a logon script to a local windows user account which doesnot belong to any domain.
