It sounds like you're trying to start a container from a 14GB image.
A Docker container, when using the
devicemapper
storage driver, only has 10GB of space available by default. You appear to be using thedevicemapper
driver, so this is probably the source of your problem.This article discusses in detail the process you need to use to increase the amount of space available for container filesystems.
Filesystem-based drivers (like the
overlay
driver) to not have this same limitation (but they may of course suffer from other limitations).
