Cannot create story in Intellij for jbehave

Question

I am trying to create a project for BDD in which I am using Jbehave and Serenity. However when I try to create a story file I am getting a null pointer error. Please find below the snapshot of the null pointer error and my pom file. I tried googling the issue a lot but could not find a solution.

I upgraded Intellij and the issue was resolved.
