Apache POI, create bullet point and numbered list in the same document

Question

I am trying to create with apache poi a document that contains both bulled point and numbered list. I would like to have this kind of result.

The List:

• List1 item 0
• List1 item 1
• List1 item 2

Paragraph after the list.

The List2:

1. List2 item 0
2. List2 item 1
3. List2 item 2

Paragraph after the list2.

If I try to create the two lists in two different documents everything works.

But if they are in the same document I only get the style of the first one created.

In the code below, for example, I create first the bullet point list and then the numbered one. But the generated document contains two bullet point lists.

I guess the problem is that the document believes that the first list is still open and applies the same style to the next one as well.

How can I tell to the document that a list is "Closed"? Any suggestion?
